I had been to the location of our shoot a few times prior to our original filming and had found an interesting location about 10 minutes walk from our main location. Underneath a large bridge that had a dual carriage way going over the top of it is a large area of abandoned space. There is some quite good graffiti on the concrete walls and a large space covered in old school chairs. We decided to add some shots of Will Wonder sitting on one of the chairs alone to add to the strange weird and wonderful montage that gives the viewer an insight into Will's life.

RW Second Shoot
We needed some new footage for our montage and particularly a 360 degree shot around Will Wonder's face. We had watched 'Run Lola run' and saw a shot we liked of Lola running into the camera and then out. We also saw a shot of her running across a bridge and we felt that if we could incorporate that into our opening it would add to the cinematic experience and enjoyment.

RW- Sound Track
We are going to use a cover version by Nathan's friend of this famous song 'Psychokiller' by 'Talking Heads'. We are going to use this as a background sound track to our opening sequence and get it in sync with our opening so when Will Wonder starts running the sound will be lined up with the lyrics "I run, run, run and I run away". The cover version of this song is a lot more edgy and faster with arguable more enthusiasm than the original. Although our main reason we chose a song and more importantly this song was because our survey results came back with a positive response to using a song that was well known. We chose this song because in the video 'Stop Making Sense' 'David Byrne' comes on to the stage all by himself with a 'boom box' places it down and sings the whole song while playing guitar all by himself. This gives a very mysterious angle to the song and is very in keeping with the mysterious theme of our film.

RW- Run Lola, Run
Me and Nathan watched an extract out of this film today to get some new ideas as our first day of shooting came back with mixed results. Everything was of a good standard apart from our chase scene. We have now decided to only feature the character Will Wonder running, as this will add more to the mystery (why would he be running? Who's he running from) and will be slightly easier to shoot. There is a shot of Lola running across a bridge and it looks like a shot we could recreate in our film Will Wonder.

NC - Ideas Created Through Preliminary Task
As we created our preliminary task we learnt alot and gained alot of information and ideas. We realised that when doing eery and weird flashbacks it is a good idea to use fades to either black to white and to cut on action. We tried out mutliple quick cuts and like the effect, this effect we will definately try in our opening sequence.
Group - Changes To Our Props
As our film 'Will Wonder' has progressed our thoughts and ideas have changed. Mainly the props, we have taken out the cigarrette, lighter and phone, this is due to us thinking instead of creating a stereotype we would have Will as more of a challenging, quirky character. So the props are now lemon sherberts that he has as some kind of comforter, below were some of the props we thought about including a rubiks cube and a yoyo but we settled on lemon sherbert because they are simple and in a way in the background but also an important charcter trait.
